Bittensor Price Faces Correction After Soaring Past $265

On April 17, Bittensor ($TAO) price witnessed an upward momentum with a surge of 7% on a daily chart following a rally in the Bitcoin ($BTC) price, but failed to hold its position and faced a quick correction on the daily chart.

On Friday, the overall crypto market sparked a bullish sentiment in the market, which helped most altcoins to gain a spike. The main reason behind the rally in the crypto market is the major development in peace talks between the U.S. and Iran. Apart from this, recently, artificial intelligence-related tokens have also attracted the attention of investors due to their real utility.

At the time of writing, Bittensor ($TAO) is trading at around $252.30 with a market capitalization of around $2.82 billion, according to CoinMarketCap. The daily trading volume also jumped by 37% in the last 24 hours and is currently revolving around $396.22 million.

Bittensor ($TAO) Price Struggles to Break Consolidation Pattern

According to the current price chart, the surge in the cryptocurrency came after a bounce from a major Fibonacci support level. This bounce was also supported by a 41% surge in trading volume.

On Friday, Bitcoin ($BTC) gained an upward momentum and rallied above $78,000. Amid this, Bittensor has also witnessed a small spike before returning to its pre-rally state.

While other altcoins are showing signs of recovery, Monad (MON) is correcting. Over the past 24 hours, the coin has dropped over 7% to $0.0336 after failing at a crucial price level again.

Notably, this move began recently. While MON is down 7% in the past seven days, it has increased by 38% over the last 30 days and 46% since the start of the year.
Accompanying this price pullback is a drop in trading volume. In the past 24 hours, trading volume has declined by 3% as market participants prefer to stay on the sidelines and observe Monad’s price trend.

On Apr. 1, Drift suffered a major exploit. Circle later described the publicly reported losses as exceeding $270 million, while other reports put the figure around $285 million and documented criticism that Circle had not frozen stolen USDC as it moved across its cross-chain rails.

The attacker routed roughly $232 million in USDC from Solana to Ethereum using Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol. The backlash stemmed from users and observers wanting to know why Circle had not intervened sooner.

This shift comes after years of uncertainty. Once legal clarity improved in 2025, institutional access quickly followed. As a result, XRP moved from the sidelines to the center of regulated markets.

XRP ETFs Gain Momentum Fast

The growth of XRP ETFs has been quick and steady. By early March 2026, total assets reached about $1.53 billion. At the same time, these funds held over 770 million XRP tokens. Even more important, there were no net outflow days in the first month. This shows consistent demand from investors. Large firms like Millennium and Citadel have already taken positions. In addition, multiple asset managers launched XRP ETF products. These include firms like Bitwise, Grayscale, and Franklin Templeton. Together, they helped build strong early momentum.

Cardano is already being used by roughly 200 large companies in Germany through agentic AI deployments, even if those firms do not realize the blockchain is sitting underneath their stack, according to Cardano Foundation CEO Frederik Gregaard. The claim, made during an interview with Jane King on GBBC’s Markets on Chain series from the New York Stock Exchange published April 16, points to a version of blockchain adoption that is less visible to end users but potentially more embedded in enterprise infrastructure.

200 German Companies Use Cardano Without Even Knowing It

Gregaard framed the Cardano Foundation’s role as pushing blockchain into systems people use without necessarily recognizing it. “We have about 200 companies in Germany who live on agentic AI, fairly large companies, and they don’t even know they’re using Cardano as a security layer, as a digital identity layer and as an accountability layer,” he said. “Part of when you have, for instance, agentic AI who’s using data from two different databases, [is] ensuring that the agentic AI is who they say they are, that they have the data they claim without disclosing it, because we want privacy.”

That argument was central to Gregaard’s broader pitch: blockchain, in his view, is becoming an underlying trust and coordination layer for AI-driven systems rather than simply a rails story for tokens or payments. He described a model where users could interact with seamless consumer applications while Cardano handles provenance, identity and compliance in the background. Congresswoman Biggs discloses six-figure BlackRock bitcoin ETF buy as BTC rebounds

U.S. Representative Sheri Biggs disclosed a purchase of up to $250,000 in BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF.

The filing reportedly ranks among the largest bitcoin-related trades reported by an active member of Congress.
Rep. Sheri Biggs has disclosed a purchase of up to $250,000 in BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF, one of the largest bitcoin-related trades publicly reported by an active member of Congress.

A House periodic transaction report filed this week shows Biggs’ spouse purchased shares of the fund on March 4 in the $100,001 to $250,000 range through a professionally managed UBS account held in the W.S.B Trust.

The fund, known by its ticker IBIT, is BlackRock’s spot bitcoin exchange-traded fund, which directly tracks the price of Bitcoin.
Unlike an earlier disclosure tied to a similar purchase last year, the latest filing appears to comply with the STOCK Act’s 45-day reporting window. The March 4 trade was disclosed on April 16, 43 days later.

Biggs previously reported another IBIT purchase in the same dollar range tied to a July 2025 transaction. That filing was submitted late as part of a broader batch of delayed disclosures that drew scrutiny over congressional trading transparency, Yahoo Finance reported at the time.

No allegation of wrongdoing has been made in either case, and the latest filing states the account is professionally managed.
