However, this upward trend was short-lived. As of this writing, the bulls have failed to break through the sideways consolidation structure formed in December last year. More seriously, influenced by liquidity chasing, Bitcoin's price has fallen back to the $90,000 mark. According to trader Cryp Nuejo, the market may even experience a deep correction towards the $80,000 low, and the short-term downward pressure cannot be ignored.

He specifically stated, "Bullish demand remains consistent; last night, the market paid $13 million in premiums for $100,000 call options expiring on February 27th and $98,000 call options expiring on January 30th. New bullish positions are continuously being built, and the current market direction clearly indicates a high probability of a relief rally in the first quarter."


Behind this statement lies a subtle shift in market expectations—investors are re-betting on Bitcoin potentially breaking out to the $98,000-$100,000 range in January or February, and the continuously growing demand for call options is the most direct manifestation of this expectation.
