This data speaks volumes more than any financial report: AI agents are moving from concept to real economic activity.

400,000 AI agents, 140 million transactions, $43 million—this is value exchange autonomously completed between machines. No human intervention, no bank approval, no credit card verification. Between codes and protocols, processes that previously required human signatures, reconciliation, and settlement have been completed.

 Circle's stock price surged from $60 to $105 in the past few trading days, a 75% increase. The market interpreted this rise as a positive reaction to its earnings report—Circle reported revenue of $770 million in the fourth quarter of 2025, a 77% year-over-year increase, and net profit of $133 million. However, the real focus isn't on the numbers themselves, but on the structural changes behind them: as AI agents become new economic actors, the entire logic of the financial infrastructure needs to be rewritten.

And in this rewriting process, a deeper question is emerging: when AI agents begin to have disposable funds, when they can earn USDC by completing tasks, how will they manage these funds? The U.S. Treasury has sanctioned eight people and organizations tied to a North Korean scheme that brought in close to $800 million last year, much of it moved through cryptocurrency, by tricking American companies into hiring fake tech workers. The money went straight toward building nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles.

The Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control, known as OFAC, announced on March 12, 2026, that it had blacklisted six individuals and two entities for their part in a fraud network run by North Korea’s government. The money raised in 2024 was used to fund the country’s weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missile programs, breaking both U.S. law and United Nations sanctions.

North Korean tech workers use stolen identities, fake documents, and made-up profiles to land jobs at real companies around the world, including in the United States. The North Korean government takes most of the wages these workers earn and uses the money for its weapons programs. Some workers have also secretly installed malware inside company systems to steal data, which they used to demand ransom payments.

Crypto Addresses Frozen Across Multiple Networks

Cryptocurrency is central to how the money gets moved. The March 12 action froze 21 cryptocurrency wallet addresses across multiple blockchain networks. One of those named was Nguyen Quang Viet, chief executive of a Vietnam-based firm called Quangvietdnbg International Services Company Limited.

From "Tick-Tock" to "Historical Rhyme"

The pinnacle of predicting the October 2025 market peak was achieved by an analyst named CryptoBullet. He created an analytical method called "tick-tock," which, starting in May 2025, predicted that the price of BTC would peak in October.

Ultimately, this model successfully predicted the end of the bull market. However, regarding the price, CryptoBullet predicted $150,000, while the actual highest price only reached $126,000.


From the perspective of his predictive model's principles, achieving this result was expected. His main logic was: in the past few cycles, a certain number of days after a halving often approached the top.  When the market has entered a similar window, extrapolating price movements based on the same time intervals could lead to a peak of $150,000 in October. The most important parameter in this logic is the time cycle, so while the time prediction is relatively accurate, the price prediction misses.

The move was aimed at stabilizing energy markets amid the ongoing crisis at the Strait of Hormuz.

The update saw oil prices drop sharply by 21% from over $100 per barrel to a low of $85. Additionally, the Wall Street Journal reported that President Donald Trump’s advisors were pushing for an end to the Iran war to avoid political backlash.

Collectively, these bullish updates dragged oil prices lower while Bitcoin [BTC] soared to $71.7K, underscoring renewed risk-on sentiment on the stabilization of the energy markets.

Too early for Bitcoin FOMO?

In fact, Santiment noted that as BTC topped $70K, ‘FOMO’ spiked as traders grew greedy amid bullish updates.



However, past FOMO spikes were also marked by short-term pullbacks, especially if triggered by long squeezes.

For example, a similar FOMO surge around the 4th of March saw BTC jump to $73K before a sharp pullback to $65K.

If past trends repeat, BTC could retreat to $65K, especially if oil prices rise.

Even so, there was notable resilience despite the ongoing Middle East tensions. The panic sell-off and daily realized losses had sharply dropped from $3 billion to $370 million, noted Bitfinex analysts.


The analysts added that should ETF inflows improve this week, BTC could extend its recovery. Otherwise, the $65K-$72K price range could shrink further. At press time, BTC traded at $69.4K, slightly down from its Tuesday’s peak.
