​Crypto analyst Captain Faibik has pointed out that despite Bitcoin's recent rebound, the overall price structure remains extremely bearish. Previously, as Bitcoin’s price gained upward momentum, market sentiment shifted temporarily; last week, Bitcoin successfully broke through the key resistance level of $70,000, flipping it into a new support level. While most investors have since moved into the bullish camp, Faibik maintains a cautious and skeptical stance, arguing that the current uptrend is a short-term phenomenon that unlikely changes the long-term bearish outlook.
​The $73,000 Retracement
Last week, Bitcoin saw a massive rally, surging over 5% and only pulling back after hitting the $73,000 resistance mark. Following weeks of negative sentiment, this rebound naturally ignited optimism and provided much-needed relief to investors who had suffered significant losses.
​The Bearish Case Amidst Optimism
Despite the widespread optimism, Captain Faibik believes this move is not worth excessive celebration and insists on a highly conservative position. He judges that while the current upward trend may still have room to run—potentially reaching a peak between $77,000 and $78,000 due to liquidity in that zone—there are no other clear signals suggesting a definitive bullish reversal.
​The Risk of a 20% Correction
The analyst suggests that once Bitcoin completes its "liquidity grab" in that higher range, the subsequent move is likely to be downward, potentially triggering a 20% correction. According to his analysis, this could drive prices back down to the $54,000–$56,000 range. If this occurs, it would mean the digital asset could hit new lows for the current cycle, decisively breaking the critical $60,000 support level.

​OBV & RSI: While the On-Balance Volume (OBV) has not yet seen a massive surge (as spot volume only recently picked up), the Relative Strength Index (RSI) has charged to 75, entering overbought territory. This could trigger a short-term pullback, though the overall structure remains bullish.
​Key Price Levels
The levels of $0.0169 and $0.031 have been critical since December. Following a daily-level internal structure breakout on February 14, MON has consistently formed higher lows. After clearing $0.0314, the next target is the supply zone between $0.046 and $0.048, just below its all-time high.
​Liquidity and "Short Squeeze" Potential
Data from CoinGlass suggests a "liquidity vacuum" for long liquidations between $0.025 and the current price of $0.035. Conversely, short liquidations concentrated up to $0.04 could act as fuel for a potential short squeeze in the coming days.
​Trading Strategy
On the 1-hour timeframe, demand zones are identified at $0.03 and $0.033. Traders might wait for a retest of these areas to enter long positions. However, a drop below $0.02912 would invalidate the 1-hour bullish structure and serve as a warning of a failed breakout or a deeper correction.
