Pi Network price is trading at $0.1672 on April 15, with the daily MACD histogram printing at exactly 0.0000 for the first time since the February all-time low, raising the question of whether the extended bearish phase that carried price from the $2.99 peak to the $0.1351 floor is finally losing its downward force.

Pi Network (PI) price is at $0.1672 on April 15, up 0.48% on the session, as the daily chart posts the first MACD histogram reading of exactly 0.0000 since the Feb. 11 all-time low at $0.1351. The flattening of the histogram at zero does not confirm a reversal on its own, but it marks the first session since the all-time low where the force of the downtrend has mathematically paused, occurring as price stabilizes directly above the annotated structural floor. The 24-hour volume stands at 14.7M PI, reflecting the consolidation conditions that have held since the bounce off the all-time low.

The full SMA ribbon remains bearish. SMA 20 at $0.1715, SMA 50 at $0.1852, SMA 100 at $0.1807, and SMA 200 at $0.2029 form sequential overhead resistance. None of the four averages have been reclaimed on a daily close since price broke below them in the fourth quarter of 2025. The key variable now is whether the MACD histogram moves from zero into positive territory, which would signal that momentum has shifted from deceleration to acceleration in the bull direction.

$XRP could be gearing up for a move ahead of the 2026 midterms, and crypto analyst Zach Rector breaks down what’s going on behind the scenes.

He points out that markets are currently stuck in a “liquidity squeeze,” driven by rising global debt, geopolitical tensions, and capital outflows, something even the IMF has flagged. Add to that the yen carry trade unwind, private credit stress, and oil price swings from Middle East tensions, and it’s creating a broader “global margin call,” where assets, including crypto, face selling pressure.

At the same time, inflation is picking up again, with the U.S. PPI hitting around 4%. Interestingly, he said that liquidity isn’t gone; central bank balance sheets hint it’s already creeping back quietly.

Still, he keeps the sentiments slow: expect a “drop before the pop.” A deeper shakeout could come before things turn bullish.

Reason 1: Liquidity Injection & Lower Rates

The first trigger is the central bank’s participation. With economic stress building, he expects rate cuts and fresh liquidity injections. A new Fed chair is also expected soon, potentially accelerating this change. More liquidity means more capital flowing into risk assets like $XRP.

Reason 2: Clarity Act & Regulatory Green Light

The second trigger is regulation. The Clarity Act is moving forward, and recent SEC guidance has already opened doors for builders on the $XRP Ledger. This removes a major roadblock that held back development for years.

With compliance already built into the system, $XRP stands in a strong position as institutions look for legally clear platforms.

The third factor is growing utility.

Therefore, China's ban cuts deeply into ASML's revenue, scaring off stock investors. Tether moves over $70 million in bitcoin to reserves, on-chain data shows

Tether transferred roughly $70.5 million in Bitcoin into reserves while simultaneously expanding its ecosystem with a new self-custodial wallet.

Tether, issuer of the world's largest stablecoin USDT, moved 951 bitcoin valued at $70.5 million into a reserve wallet linked to its treasury operations, according to on-chain data from blockchain analytics firms including Arkham Intelligence. The transfer originated from a Bitfinex hot wallet and landed in an address labeled as a Bitcoin reserve account tied to the company.

The transaction aligns with a profit allocation policy introduced in 2023 in which Tether assigns 15% of net realized profits toward Bitcoin purchases each quarter. The approach converts revenue from stablecoin issuance into a growing Bitcoin position held on the company balance sheet.

Bitcoin (BTC) traders are boosting purchases, signaling the start of a perceived long-term recovery. Within 72 hours, several on-chain metrics flagged as red drivers have flipped, fueling the market resurgence. At the time of writing, Bitcoin trades under $75,000 with bulls attempting to break the mark.
The Bull Score Index has pumped new momentum to traders looking to steer Bitcoin’s course. After months in the red zone, the metric is now at the highest level since October 2025. Within 12 hours, it surged above 40, entering neutral territory. 

On-chain analysts explained the possible implications when viewed in a broader context. The BSI coincides with a price uptick above $74,000, pointing to a gradual improvement in trading conditions. In October, Bitcoin was relatively bullish as investors ramped up assets for crypto treasuries and other offerings. 

This is a stark contrast to present conditions, as the metric crept above 40 once more. Bulls opine a gradual recovery following weak momentum and risks that liquidate retail and institutional traders. While in neutral levels and different from the Q4 2025 uptick, the charts don’t show clear signs of weakness. 

In addition to the BSI metric, other on-chain factors have supported a price rebound over the past few months. Bitcoin trading volume has constantly exceeded the altcoin trading volume threshold for two months. Furthermore, short-term holders might be selling into the top crypto rise, allowing larger holders to pick up assets toward long-term gains.

Historically, a crypto rebound has been driven by multiple strategies at different investor levels. Retail and short-term traders tend to seek early profits to hedge prior losses, while whales absorb those positions.

The quantum computing threat has some of Bitcoin's most vocal developers landing in wildly different places.

Blockstream's CEO, Adam Back, told Paris Blockchain Week attendees on Wednesday that Bitcoin developers should start building optional quantum-resistant upgrades now, even though current quantum computers remain "essentially lab experiments" with progress that has been "incremental" over the 25 years he has tracked the field.

"Preparation is key. Making changes in a controlled way is far safer than reacting in a crisis," the Blockstream CEO said.
