After failing to breach $0.00165 for three consecutive days, Pump.fun [PUMP] bulls bounced back and pushed the coin’s price to a monthly high of $0.00169 before pulling back slightly. 

At press time, Pump.fun traded at $0.00165 after rising by 9% on the daily charts. This price hike was supported by a 61% increase in trading volume, reflecting strong market participation.

One move I'm watching is Bitcoin falling below the $62,000 level.
Short-term price weakness naturally attracts attention, but I don't think one support break alone defines the broader market trend. Bitcoin often experiences sharp fluctuations around key psychological levels, especially when investors are waiting for new macro or liquidity catalysts.
For me, the more important indicators remain ETF flows, on-chain accumulation, funding rates, and macroeconomic expectations rather than a single intraday move.
If selling pressure continues alongside weakening market participation, it could signal a deeper correction. On the other hand, if long-term holders continue accumulating while short-term sentiment stays weak, the market may simply be going through another consolidation phase.
I'll be watching whether Bitcoin can reclaim key support in the coming sessions, because price alone tells only part of the story—the underlying capital flows matter just as much.

Strategy executes first Bitcoin sale under new treasury framework to fund dividendsStrategy has sold 3,588 Bitcoin for approximately $216 million, marking the first disclosed use of its newly adopted treasury framework that allows the company to monetize part of its Bitcoin holdings to support its capital structure.

The sale comes a week after Strategy introduced its Digital Credit Capital Framework. The framework authorized limited Bitcoin sales to fund cash reserves, preferred dividends, and share repurchases while preserving the company’s long-term Bitcoin exposure. The latest transaction reduced Strategy’s holdings to 843,775 BTC, according to Executive Chairman Michael Saylor.

Strategy puts new Bitcoin monetization policy into action
In a post on X on Monday, July 6, Saylor said the company sold 3,588 BTC to fund dividends on its Digital Credit securities. Following the transaction, Strategy held 843,775 BTC alongside $2.55 billion in U.S. dollar reserves.

The update marks a notable shift from the company’s previous reporting cycle. In its 29 June Form 8-K, Strategy disclosed that it had made no Bitcoin purchases during the week ended 28 June and still held 847,363 BTC. The filing also unveiled a new treasury framework that authorized Bitcoin sales under defined circumstances.

That framework allows Strategy to sell Bitcoin to build its USD Reserve, pay preferred stock dividends, and interest expenses. Also, it allows it to fund repurchases of preferred securities and Class A common stock.

However, the filing also made clear that the program does not obligate the company to sell Bitcoin and is intended to preserve its long-term exposure to the asset.

Aave V4 crosses $250M – But ONE liquidity challenge still remainsAave [AAVE] V4 has reached an important adoption milestone, highlighting continued demand despite a challenging DeFi environment. The protocol has now surpassed $250 million in deposits, reflecting strong early traction for its upgraded lending infrastructure.

This growth was driven by improvements in capital efficiency, enhanced risk parameters, and expanded lending options to attract additional liquidity. As well as growing the amount of deposits, it is also essential that the quality of these deposits remain high.Some portion of the deposits to V4 were due to users moving their previous positions from V3. Yet, they did not all represent new capital entering the Aave ecosystem.

Despite this, there have been positive signs indicating that new deposits continue to flow into the platform. This is in addition to the migrated assets. For Aave to be able to sustain further growth, they need to continue to draw new capital into the platform.Should V4 continue to outperform V3 in terms of true net additions of liquidity, then Aave can solidify its position as the dominant liquidity provider within DeFi.

Broader liquidity tells a different story
Although Aave V4 continues to see record-breaking deposit numbers, the overall trend in liquidity is much more nuanced. The TVL previously reached an all-time high of about 13.4 million ETH. However, it fell dramatically due to the recent downturn in markets.

TVL has since bounced back to about 7.4 million ETH. Still far from the previous highs, this indicates that significant amounts of capital have been slow to recover even with improvements in investor sentiment.
