July 6 opened with mixed sentiment in the market, and both red and green charts were found across the assets. Among them, Cardano ($ADA) is struggling to regain its lost momentum. It has lost a modest 1.94% in value, currently trading at around $0.1863. It can be considered under pressure as bears pave the way.

If it succeeded in attracting the bulls into the charts, it’s easy to escape the downside trading pattern. It is worth noting that the technical structure may turn firmly bearish, with the price trend confirming that negative momentum continues to dominate the broader $ADA market.

At press time, Cardano’s price is holding above the daily low at around $0.1855, and its daily high is noted within the $0.1933 range. Moreover, the daily trading volume of the asset has plunged by 43.15%, reaching the $490.51 million zone. Consequently, the Coinglass data has reported that the $ADA market has seen a liquidation of $1.72 million.

Cardano’s 4-hour price pattern shows that if the bears turn powerful, the crucial support might be at $0.1841, followed by a level below $0.1817. A continued downside brings in a deeper zone between $0.1748-$0.1801 are notable areas that determine whether the asset stalls here or continues to fall.

On the flip side, once the bulls show up, the first recovery level of $ADA could be at around $0.1886. Assuming a push on the upside happened, the price would hit $0.1908. A potential move above the $0.1969 mark confirms that buyers are gaining control and may target the next resistance levels.

Cardano’s recent momentum reveals that the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) line is situated below the signal line. With both lines above the zero line, it suggests that the uptrend is weakening, even though the broader trend remains positive.

Bitcoin's Sharpe Ratio slides to lowest since 2022. Here's what it means.


Bitcoin $BTC$62,867.66 has dropped by 28% so far this year, a brutal slide that looks even worse through the lens of the Sharpe Ratio, a metric professional investors use to determine what slice of their portfolio should be allocated to a specific asset.

The Sharpe Ratio is the gold standard for measuring risk-adjusted returns and was developed by Nobel Prize-winning economist William F. Sharpe.

Bitcoin's 365-day rolling Sharpe Ratio plummeted to -21 at the end of June, the lowest since late 2022, according to data source CryptoQuant. It was recently hovering just short of -20.

This deeply negative reading indicates that a bitcoin investor over the period took on extra market volatility while generating a return far worse than they could have earned on a risk-free investment, such as the 10-year U.S. Treasury note. The benchmark bond recently offered a yield of around 4.45%.

The Sharpe Ratio is calculated by subtracting the risk-free rate from the asset's total return over a specific period, then dividing the result by the asset's standard deviation (a measure of price volatility). A positive ratio means investors are being rewarded for taking the volatility risk. A negative ratio suggests they are being punished.

Professional investors don't just look at a coin's price relative to its long-term average to assess whether it's cheap. They use metrics such as the Sharpe Ratio to determine position sizing.

XRP News: Ripple Receives Full MiCA CASP Authorization in Europe

Ripple has received full authorisation of its Crypto Asset Service Provider licence from Luxembourg’s financial regulator, completing the two-part regulatory structure that makes it one of the very few digital asset companies to be fully compliant under the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets regulation.

The authorisation from Luxembourg’s Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier, announced on Monday, follows the preliminary approval Ripple received in June. Combined with the EU Electronic Money Institution licence the company obtained from the same regulator earlier this year, the approval means Ripple can now offer its complete end-to-end crypto payments infrastructure to financial institutions, fintechs and corporates across all 30 countries of the European Economic Area through a single integration.

CLARITY Act faces Aug. 7 deadline after July 4 target slips

The CLARITY Act did not become law by July 4, despite earlier hopes from White House crypto adviser Patrick Witt. Attention has now moved to Aug. 7, the Senate’s final session day before its summer break and the campaign season.

The bill remains one of the most watched U.S. crypto market structure proposals. Crypto.news reported that the CLARITY Act has passed the House, cleared the Senate Banking Committee, and sits on the Senate calendar. It still needs a full Senate vote before it can move closer to the president’

Senate staff are still working to reconcile the Agriculture and Banking Committee versions. That step matters because both committees have jurisdiction over parts of digital asset policy. A single Senate text must be ready before floor action can move cleanly.

Recent crypto.news coverage said Senator Bill Hagerty revived hopes after outlining a new Senate roadmap for the CLARITY Act. The report said the Senate could release final text before lawmakers return from recess, while Bloomberg Intelligence placed the bill’s chance of passing this month near 60%.

Senator Cynthia Lummis has also pushed lawmakers to keep the bill moving. Crypto.news reported that Lummis said the bill would “lay the foundation for the financial services of the 21st century.” She also said, “The Clarity Act is this generation’s contribution to that legacy. Let’s finish the job.”

 Согласно данным криптовалютного рынка, 5 июля $HBAR торговался по цене $0,075212. За 24 часа токен вырос на 0,75%, а за семь дней — на 5,67%.

Рыночная капитализация токена составила около $3,29 млрд, а объем торгов за 24 часа приблизился к $68,95 млн. За последние 24 часа $HBAR торговался в диапазоне от $0,07433 до $0,077207.
