As is known, the FED held its first Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting under the chairmanship of Kevin Warsh last week and did not change interest rates. The FED unanimously kept the policy interest rate stable at 3.50-3.75 percent, in line with expectations.

Increased inflation concerns stemming from the US-Iran conflict have reduced the likelihood of a Fed interest rate cut to almost zero, while increasing the likelihood of an interest rate hike.

While the general consensus is that the Fed will keep interest rates stable this year, Grayscale suggests that a postponement of the Fed’s interest rate hike could lead to a rise in $BTC.

Grayscale research head Zach Pandl suggests that Bitcoin could rise if the Federal Reserve postpones the possibility of an interest rate hike. In other words, according to Pandl, Bitcoin is waiting for the Fed to keep interest rates unchanged before it can rise.

Pandl noted that since the conflict in Iran began in late February, US stocks have risen by 9%, but $BTC has fallen by 1% and gold by 20%.

Pandl explained that the relatively low performance of $BTC and gold stems from the market pricing in the possibility of a Fed interest rate hike.

QCP Capital analysts stated that Bitcoin’s recent rise above $65,000 was due to Strategy’s additional Bitcoin purchases. Yesterday, Strategy bought another 520 Bitcoin, increasing its cash reserves by $300 million to $1.4 billion.

However, it was noted that liquidity concerns have eased as the timeframe for Strategy to raise funds for dividend payments has been extended to approximately 10 months.

Nevertheless, the overall outlook for risky assets like Bitcoin remains mixed. Therefore, Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market are expected to continue trading sideways for now.

According to QCP, ongoing macroeconomic uncertainties, such as tensions between the US and Iran, continuing market concerns regarding MicroStrategy’s STRC perpetual preferred stock issuance, and the hawkish stance of the new Fed Chairman Kevin Warsh, are negatively impacting investor sentiment.

Finally, the firm analyzed that Bitcoin needs a combination of positive macroeconomic headwinds and a catalyst from within the crypto market to break out of its boring sideways trend and begin to rise.

Aside from QCP Capital, BIT (formerly Matrixport) stated that macroeconomic factors, not the rise in AI stocks, triggered the Bitcoin correction.

The June 18 deployment is important because collateral that would typically sit as idle cash or cash equivalent can still earn money-market yield while supporting trading activity.

For tokenized real-world assets, that shifts the discussion from issuance volume to market plumbing. The question is whether these instruments can become useful enough to replace idle margin inside real trading operations.

How UBS uMINT collateral works on Bybit
Calais, a Singapore-headquartered quantitative investment fund, is using UBS uMINT as off-exchange settlement collateral in active trading operations.

The off-exchange settlement collateral transaction runs through a three-party setup: DigiFT provides regulated access and distribution for uMINT, ByCustody holds the asset, and Bybit accepts the custodied position as collateral on its exchange infrastructure.

That changes the economics of margin. Traditional collateral arrangements often require a trader to park cash, stablecoins, or other eligible assets in a form that protects the trading venue while limiting what the fund can earn on those assets.

In DigiFT's description, Calais can keep exposure to a money-market product while using that same position to support trading.

On Monday, Solana, a leading blockchain network, announced the arrival of Micron Technology (MU) stock on the network via Sunrise, a Solana-based tokenization infrastructure.

The announcement comes amid the boom in the tokenized assets market, thanks to growing regulatory clarity around it. The tokenized version of Micron Technology (MU) shares will be issued by Backpack, which is a regulated U.S. brokerage.

For users, this is a major development as Micron Technology is a leading hardware provider for the AI sector.
