Ripple, a developer of blockchain-based payment solutions, has taken a significant step towards expanding its operations in the European Union market.

The company announced that it has received preliminary approval from the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF), Luxembourg’s financial regulatory body, for a Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) license, which is required under the European Union’s Crypto Asset Market Regulation (MiCA).

According to a statement by Ripple, the company will obtain a full CASP license after fulfilling the remaining requirements in the licensing process. This will allow Ripple to offer crypto asset services to financial institutions and businesses in 30 countries within the European Economic Area (EEA).

The company already holds an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license in the European Union. Ripple management stated that the eventual approval of the CASP license would significantly expand their current regulatory authority and allow them to offer more comprehensive services to their customers in Europe.

With the acquisition of the full license, Ripple will be able to offer cryptocurrency and stablecoin-based payment infrastructures under one roof for banks, financial technology companies, and corporate clients. This is expected to particularly increase the company’s competitiveness in the field of cross-border payments.

Bitcoin fell to an almost two-week low as a selloff in tech stocks hit risk assets.

The original cryptocurrency fell as much as 3.9% to $61,877, its lowest level since June 11. It pared some losses to trade around $62,400 at 10 a.m. in London. Other tokens declined as well, with Ether down as much as 5.6%. Solana and XRP fell as much as 6.4% and 3.3%, respectively.

At press time, Humanity Protocol trades within the $0.1422 range, with its trading volume having soared by 49.04%, reaching the $34.35 million mark. As reported by the Coinglass data, the market has experienced a liquidation of over $629.26K worth of H over the last 24 hours.

Humanity Protocol’s 4-hour price chart reveals a sturdy downtrend in the market. With the bears in control, the price might slip to the support zone at around $0.1352. Assuming the emergence of the death cross, the price is expected to move toward the $0.12 range.

On the upside, a potential climb might initiate the Humanity Protocol price to hit the resistance at $0.1517. Significantly, the bulls could strengthen the move and let the value jump to the $0.1601. With the formation of the golden cross, the price may encounter a few key levels.

The asset remains in a bearish phase, and the negative momentum is dominating. As long as both indicators stay below zero, the broader market favours continued downside pressure.In addition, the Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) of the asset is settled at -0.02, showing very mild selling pressure. The capital outflows are only slightly exceeding inflows. How Each Network Is Actually Built
Ethereum is a general-purpose blockchain based on the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). Its primary focus is executing smart contracts, and it achieves scalability via rollups, which are secondary protocols that use Ethereum as a settlement layer.

Polkadot, by contrast, is a heterogeneous, multi-chain protocol, often called a "Layer 0" or meta-protocol, that hosts multiple Layer 1 blockchains and allows them to share security. Each parachain, also called an appchain, is specialized toward a specific focus and optimized for that goal.

In plain terms: Ethereum is one big chain with many applications layered on top. Polkadot is a coordination layer for many purpose-built chains running in parallel.

What Are Parachains?
A parachain is an individual blockchain that connects to Polkadot's central Relay Chain. Each one can have its own logic, governance rules, and tokenomics, while still inheriting security from the Relay Chain's validator set. Think of the Relay Chain as a federal government and each parachain as an independent state, accountable to the federation but running its own affairs.

Polkadot can process more than 1,000 transactions per second at its base layer, with costs usually under $0.10, which makes it more practical for regular use. That figure has grown considerably since Elastic Scaling completed in October 2025
