Recent volatility in the cryptocurrency market has drawn investors’ attention to selling pressure, and market analysis company Swissblock, in its new report, stated that the biggest risk facing Bitcoin is not direct sell-offs, but the strengthening US dollar.

According to the company’s assessment, a significant portion of Bitcoin’s past bear markets coincided with periods when the US Dollar Index (DXY) recovered from its lows and entered an upward trend. Analysts emphasized that risky assets generally come under pressure during periods when the dollar gains strength in global markets, and Bitcoin is significantly affected by this situation.

$XRP is running out of room. After spending most of June trapped between resistance overhead and support near $1.10, the token is once again testing the bottom of its range.

While the latest decline was small, the inability to build on recent rebounds has left traders focused on whether buyers defend support or finally give way after weeks of compression.

$XRP ETFs attracted another $2.4 million in inflows on June 20, extending a run of institutional buying even as retail sentiment weakened.

• Analysts continue to watch the year-long downtrend from $XRP's 2025 highs, with several identifying $1.28-$1.30 as the level needed to change the broader structure.

• Network activity has softened in recent weeks while futures positioning and open interest have drifted lower.

$XRP fell from $1.1313 to $1.1109 during the 24-hour session, losing 1.8%.

• The sharpest selling came during a June 22 reversal when volume jumped to 65.4 million $XRP, roughly 84% above average.

• Price spent most of the session grinding lower before testing support near $1.10 into the close.

The market remains trapped inside the same range that has defined trading for much of June.

• $XRP recently lost support from the weekly Ichimoku cloud, adding to the cautious tone around the chart.

• The more important development is the repeated testing of the $1.05-$1.10 area. Markets that keep returning to support eventually either bounce hard or break.

• Volume remains relatively subdued outside isolated spikes, suggesting neither bulls nor bears have fully taken control.

• A break below it would likely shift attention toward the psychological $1.00 level.

• On the upside, $XRP needs to reclaim $1.18 before traders start talking about a move back toward $1.20-$1.30.

Based on current distribution rates, Ripple’s massive stash of locked tokens could take nearly a decade to be fully emptied out. Morgan argues that a swifter release schedule could actually unlock XRP's true potential. "Ripple should release more of the 1 billion each month and not lock so much back in escrow," Morgan shared on the X social network. "The sooner it is all released from escrow, and the circulating supply is 100% the quicker XRP will become the best hard money."

Ripple Takes a Significant Step Towards Expanding Its Operations in the European Union Market! Here Are the DetailsRipple, a developer of blockchain-based payment solutions, has taken a significant step towards expanding its operations in the European Union market.

The company announced that it has received preliminary approval from the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF), Luxembourg’s financial regulatory body, for a Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) license, which is required under the European Union’s Crypto Asset Market Regulation (MiCA).

According to a statement by Ripple, the company will obtain a full CASP license after fulfilling the remaining requirements in the licensing process. This will allow Ripple to offer crypto asset services to financial institutions and businesses in 30 countries within the European Economic Area (EEA).

The company already holds an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license in the European Union. Ripple management stated that the eventual approval of the CASP license would significantly expand their current regulatory authority and allow them to offer more comprehensive services to their customers in Europe.

With the acquisition of the full license, Ripple will be able to offer cryptocurrency and stablecoin-based payment infrastructures under one roof for banks, financial technology companies, and corporate clients. This is expected to particularly increase the company’s competitiveness in the field of cross-border payments.

The MiCA regulation aims to create a common legal framework for the crypto asset sector across the European Union. The new rules will allow companies to operate across Europe with a single license, while also aiming to increase investor protection and market transparency.
