I voted YES on the Eternl: Path to Sustainability — v2 proposal as Cardano DRep MREDGARCROSS.
Eternl is requesting ₳2,350,000, approximately $420,000, from the Cardano Treasury to fund 12 months of wallet development and operations from August 2026 to July 2027.
🔹 55% — frontend development
🔹 25% — backend and infrastructure
🔹 13% — administration
🔹 5% — user support
🔹 2% — independent audits
The Eternl team plans to:
🔹 completely rewrite the Eternl core
🔹 improve transaction speed and performance
🔹 launch Eternl Hub
🔹 add Bluetooth support for Ledger, Trezor, and OneKey
🔹 improve multisig and Cardano governance tools
🔹 support future Cardano upgrades, including Dijkstra and Leios
🔹 keep a basic free version of the wallet
Eternl will also introduce paid plans:
🔹 Personal — $96 per year
🔹 Company — $360 per year
Around 5,500 paid users would allow Eternl to cover its annual operating costs and gradually become self-sustainable.
What This Means
Eternl is one of the key wallets in the Cardano ecosystem. Users rely on it for ADA management, staking, DeFi, NFTs, DApps, hardware wallets, multisig, and governance.
The updated v2 proposal includes clearer independent audit rules, transparent treasury fund tracking, and a commitment to return excess ADA to the Cardano Treasury.
Conclusion
My vote is YES.
Supporting Eternl means supporting critical Cardano infrastructure, users, developers, and decentralized governance.
