Claim1,200 USDT in the Monthly Creation Challenge

Bitdeer hits 70 EH/s in self-mining bitcoin operations, claims top spot by compute Bitdeer's total hashrate under management grew to 78.1 EH/s, including its massive self-mining fleet and hosted machines, as of the end of March.

CleanSpark, often ranked among the largest miners by compute, reported an operational hashrate of about 50 EH/s in its latest operations filing on Wednesday.

Bitdeer (NASDAQ: BTDR) produced 661 self-mined bitcoins in March 2026, up 480% from the same month last year, according to its latest operations update. The firm has been ramping up its bitcoin mining business to become a dominant player in the ecosystem.

According to its filing on Wednesday, Bitdeer now commands about 225,000 self-owned rigs, out of the 262,000 it has under management. It is also scaling up to 3.0 gigawatts in global energy capacity, including the operations in the pipeline.

In total, Bitdeer said its self-mining bitcoin operations scaled to about 70 exahashes per second (EH/s), an 504% increase year over year, once again making it the largest miner by computer power. This is a title Bitdeer claimed at the end of last year, when it reported "total hash rate under management" of 71 EH/s, including, at the time, a self-mining hashrate of 55.2 EH/s.

Europe is warming up to blockchain innovation—but it’s doing so carefully. In its latest bulletin, the European Central Bank made it clear: tokenization can transform capital markets, but only if it’s backed by strong regulation, interoperable systems, and central bank money.
At the heart of the discussion is Distributed Ledger Technology, which the ECB يرى as a tool to modernize how financial markets operate. From issuing securities to settling trades, tokenization could streamline processes that today rely on multiple intermediaries, reducing costs and improving efficiency.
But the ECB isn’t rushing in blindly.
Transparency, stability, and control remain top priorities.
The central bank outlined key conditions for safe adoption:
→ Settlement must rely on central bank money
Tokenized markets should not depend solely on private tokens or commercial bank money. Anchoring transactions in central bank money is critical to maintaining financial stability.
→ Infrastructure must be interoperable
Fragmented blockchain systems could create inefficiencies and new risks. The ECB warns against a “patchwork” of incompatible platforms.
→ Regulation must evolve alongside innovation
Frameworks like Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation will play a crucial role in ensuring safe growth, especially for stablecoins and tokenized assets.
The report also highlights emerging trends:
• Tokenized bonds are showing early promise, with potential for lower borrowing costs and tighter spreads—but results are still preliminary.
• Euro stablecoins and tokenized money market funds (MMFs) could either strengthen liquidity during market stress or introduce new contagion channels, depending on how they are structured and regulated.
The ECB’s message is clear:
Tokenization isn’t the risk—uncontrolled tokenization is.
As finance moves on-chain, the real challenge will be balancing innovation with resilience. Europe wants to lead this shift—but on its own terms.

Paxos Labs raises $12mln to solve THIS DeFi ‘product problem’

Paxos Labs has raised $12 million to solve what the project calls DeFi’s ‘product problem.’ Notably, Paxos Labs is a spin-off of the crypto infrastructure firm Paxos. 

Through its new Amplify, Paxos Labs believes it can make it super easy for users to earn yield, borrow, and lend assets at scale. 

In a statement, Spencer Bogart, general partner at Blockchain Capital, an early investor and one of the key firms that led the latest fundraising round, said,

The infrastructure problem is largely solved. The product problem, what users and platforms actually do with these assets on-chain, is the largest open opportunity in fintech today, and this is the team to build it.

For the unfamiliar, Paxos is a white-label issuer or simply a service provider that helps other firms to create and manage their branded stablecoins. 

However, the Paxos Labs spin-off was necessary to address the lack of clarity associated with DeFi regulation. Now, the team wants to go beyond branded stablecoins. 

Paxos Labs’ Amplify plans

Amplify is a new stack by Paxos Labs that allows users to mint, earn, and borrow assets. For institutions, Amplify aims to help apps and other fintechs make on-chain assets more productive.

The end goal? Empower users to earn yield.

Bitcoin [$BTC] exchange reserves have dropped massively, and Spot retail activity is close to recent lows. Regardless of it all, $BTC traders may have reason to believe.

Here’s why.

$BTC exchange reserves fall, retail demand weak

On one hand, exchange reserves across all exchanges have been in freefall, down to 2.683 million $BTC at the latest reading. That’s one of the lowest reserve levels seen in recent months, down from close to 3 million $BTC in late April-May 2025.

There are fewer coins on exchanges, so no one’s in a rush to sell.

At the same time, price has recovered from the early February dip. Supply is getting tighter.

But here’s where things get interesting. Spot retail activity, seen through the trading frequency surge, is the weakest it’s been in the last year. After peaking when Bitcoin traded at the ATH range, retail participation fell and hasn’t shown any muscle since.
