Exclusive: Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP Price Predictions – Key Levels to Watch

In a discussion with Coinpedia, crypto analyst Kripto Holder shared his latest assessment of Bitcoin, arguing that the market is currently going through a phase of liquidity gathering and leverage reduction rather than a clear accumulation period.

According to the analyst, the $65,000–$66,000 region should be viewed as an area where excess leverage is being flushed from the market. While Bitcoin holding above $65,000 as Open Interest declines is a constructive development, weak Spot CVD and a negative Coinbase Premium continue to point to a lack of strong spot buying activity.

“Bitcoin is currently telling me: the market is clearing, but the uptrend is not yet confirmed.”

The analyst believes Bitcoin still needs to reclaim the $67,000–$68,000 range and secure acceptance above $72,000 before a sustained bullish trend can be confirmed. Until then, he views the current price action as part of a broader market reset rather than the start of a new leg higher.

Kripto Holder also pointed to recent market activity, noting that Bitcoin wiped out billions of dollars in long liquidations during the latest correction. Following the sell-off, spot whales reportedly began accumulating around the $62,000 level, helping drive the asset back toward $67,000.

In addition, the analyst highlighted that roughly $8 billion in liquidation liquidity remains below current prices, down to $60,000. He suggested that a move toward higher liquidity zones could help improve market structure.

If you're scoring purely on the trades described — SpaceX at IPO versus Bitcoin a year ago — SpaceX is the clear winner, turning $1,000 into ~$1,489 while Bitcoin shrank it to ~$615. The IPO buyer caught a once-in-a-generation listing; the Bitcoin buyer caught a cycle top.

SkyBridge Capital founder Anthony Scaramucci believes Bitcoin remains in a normal cyclical correction and has not broken its long-term bullish structure.

Speaking during a CNBC interview, Scaramucci argued that Bitcoin’s recent price action closely mirrors the historical four-year market cycle driven by halving events. 

After reaching a new all-time high several months following the 2024 halving, Bitcoin entered a significant correction, dropping to $59,000 before rebounding to $65,000. Nonetheless, Scaramucci maintains that the market is moving through a typical post-halving downturn rather than entering an abnormal bearish phase.

Moreover, he emphasized that the current correction has been relatively mild compared to previous bear markets. Historically, Bitcoin has declined between 60% and 70% from its peak during major downturns. By comparison, he noted that the current drawdown stands at roughly 50%, indicating stronger resilience than in prior cycles.

According to Scaramucci, growing institutional participation has helped support Bitcoin’s price. In particular, spot Bitcoin ETFs have introduced a new source of demand that previous market cycles lacked, helping to cushion the asset’s decline.
