If finalized, the agreement would mark one of the largest cloud computing commitments in the AI sector and could become a significant long-term catalyst for Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOG).

Bitcoin closed the week above the bull market support band, keeping attention on whether buyers can hold the reclaimed zone and push through the next major moving average resistance.

The chart shared by Daan Crypto Trades shows Bitcoin moving back above the bull market support band after a sharp rebound from its recent lows. The band sits near the upper-$70,000 area, while $BTC now trades close to the next resistance zone around $82

Daan Crypto Trades said the weekly close above the band was solid. He added that bulls need to sustain this area and clear the daily 200-day moving average and 200-day exponential moving average near $82,000 to confirm stronger continuation.

The bull market support band often acts as a key trend zone during larger Bitcoin cycles. When $BTC holds above it, traders usually view the structure as stronger. When price falls below it, the market often needs more time to rebuild momentum.

The chart also shows the weekly 200 EMA near $68,837 and the weekly 200 MA near $61,125. Bitcoin’s recent rebound held above both long-term averages, which keeps the wider structure stronger than it was during the March low.

However, the $82,000 area remains the main short-term test. A clean break above that level would show stronger buyer control and could support further upside. Until then, Bitcoin is still testing resistance after reclaiming the support band.

If $BTC fails to hold above the band, price could move back toward the high-$70,000 zone. A deeper pullback would put the weekly 200 EMA back in focus as the next major support area.

Speaking in an interview shared via X on May 9, Saylor addressed the market reaction to Strategy’s recent earnings call, where the company said it was prepared to sell Bitcoin, if needed, to fund dividends on its STRC preferred instrument. The remark drew attention because Saylor has long been associated with the phrase “never sell your Bitcoin.”

According to Saylor, the more precise formulation is that Strategy does not intend to be a “net seller” of Bitcoin.

“I’m very famous for saying, never sell your Bitcoin. And that’s why the internet went crazy when we said we might sell it,” Saylor said. “But if I was being more precise, I’d say never be a net seller of Bitcoin. It just wouldn’t have been so viral or so catchy to say never be a net seller of Bitcoin.”

Why Strategy Is Not A Bitcoin Ponzi Scheme
The issue became a point of contention after Peter Schiff and other critics suggested that Strategy’s willingness to sell Bitcoin to support STRC dividends exposed weakness in the model. Saylor rejected that framing, saying the company’s balance sheet should not be treated as if its Bitcoin holdings were unusable or worth zero.

“If you had $65 billion worth of something and people wanted to value it at zero, it’s not very good,” he said. “We don’t want the credit rating agencies to think the company has $0 of assets. We want the credit rating agencies to think we have $65 billion of assets.”
