Reading on-chain data at the right time can give investors an early edge.
At the current stage of the cycle, timing matters more than ever. From a technical view, traders have wiped $10 billion+ from the market this week, dragging Bitcoin closer to $70k.
With major liquidity clusters sitting on both the upside and downside, the next move could trigger a significant liquidity sweep in either direction.
That said, several early indicators suggest bulls are gradually losing control. Bitcoin sentiment has dropped into extreme fear, a level that has historically signaled capitulation events.

dYdX is basically hitting that “make or break” part of its move where momentum looks strong, but structure starts to matter more than hype.
The interesting part here is that the rally isn’t really being driven by on-chain fundamentals right now—metrics like fees and TVL staying flat suggests there isn’t fresh protocol growth powering this. Instead, the move is more sentiment- and flow-driven, which often produces sharp but less stable trends.
Technically, the price has now run into the upper boundary of its ascending channel, and that’s usually where two things happen:
Early buyers start taking profit because they’ve been in the move since lower levels
Late buyers often chase, which creates temporary exhaustion
That doesn’t automatically mean the trend is over, but it does mean the market is at a decision point. If price cleanly breaks above the channel resistance with volume, that can trigger another leg higher as shorts get squeezed and breakout traders pile in.
If it gets rejected here, though, the more likely outcome is a rotation back toward the mid-channel support first, and possibly even the lower boundary if momentum fades.
For dYdX (DYDX) specifically, this kind of setup tends to be very reaction-driven: strong pushes into resistance, followed by sharp pullbacks when liquidity dries up. So the next move is less about slow trend continuation and more about whether buyers have enough strength to force a clean breakout or not.
In short: it’s not just “next target up,” it’s “can it actually escape the channel, or does it reset inside it first?”

Following its bullish performance at the start of Q2 2026, the Bitcoin spot ETFs market has slumped into negative momentum in recent weeks, in line with the broader price correction. Data from ETF tracker shows that total net outflows for May stand at $2.30 billion, representing the largest negative performance since November 2025.However, a trend analysis by blockchain research firm Santiment reveals the recent market exit represents a similar market build-up for a bullish price breakout. In an X post on May 29, Santiment reports that total Bitcoin ETF outflows since May 7 have reached approximately $4 billion, reflecting dominant bearish sentiment among institutional investors. The spot ETFs, by design, are financial products that track the real-time price of Bitcoin by owning actual BTC. They provide an indirect, regulated access to engaging the Bitcoin market and are a major gauge of institutional investor sentiment. Therefore, a rise in inflows represents strong market optimism, while massive outflows, as recently seen, indicate fear and caution among one of Bitcoin’s largest investor cohorts.

According to Santiment analysts, heavy ETF flows have historically functioned as a contrarian indicator, i.e., market prices move in the opposite direction to traders’ predictions. Therefore, extremely high market inflows occur when demand is excessive and the market is overheated, just before the price reaches a local peak. This phenomenon was observed when ETF inflows reached $1.21 billion on October 6, 2025, and $840.6 million on January 14, 2026, effectively generating validated sell signals on both counts.

Bitdeer sells all mined Bitcoin for 14th straight week, holds zero BTC
Bitdeer moved ahead to sell all the coins it mined during the week ending May 29. This led the company to maintain its zero-balance treasury policy. It had mined more than 206 $BTC during the period and sold all of them. However, the customer deposit has been excluded from this.

The biggest crypto is dealing with heavy selling pressure, and Bitdeer added some more to it. Bitcoin price has dipped by 16% since the beginning of the year. The Fear and Greed index is flashing big warnings. The index dipped into the “Fear” category with 33 points.
