Analysts say this breakout could support further gains, with Bitcoin potentially continuing its rally toward the $80,000 level if momentum remains strong.

Scaramucci Says Bitcoin Could Reach Gold-Level Market Value

Anthony Scaramucci says institutional interest in Bitcoin is growing quickly and revealed that Bitcoin is now his largest investment position. He believes blockchain could become a core layer of future financial systems. Scaramucci also suggested Bitcoin could eventually rival gold’s market value, potentially reaching $35 trillion over the next 10 to 15 years. He added that in a world powered by advanced AI, computers may use blockchain networks like Bitcoin to carry out transactions.

Ethereum Supply Tightens as More ETH Gets Locked

Ethereum is seeing a tightening supply as more tokens become locked or held long-term. Current data shows nearly 31% of ETH is staked, reducing the amount available for trading. At the same time, only about 12% of the total supply remains on exchanges, while around 6.6% is held in corporate treasuries. With more ETH locked in staking and institutional holdings, the freely tradable supply is shrinking, which some analysts believe could support higher prices over time.

Bitcoin ($BTC) experienced a decline in the initial days of the US-Iran conflict, but subsequently made a significant recovery.

As Bitcoin surged above $73,000, altcoins mirrored $BTC’s gains. Ethereum (ETH) rose 6.9% to $2,240, XRP increased 3.8% to $1.47, and Solana (SOL) increased 6.5% to $93.2.

With Bitcoin expected to continue this recovery, a move above $80,000 is being considered.

Speaking to The Block, Bitrue research leader Andri Fauzan Adziima attributed Bitcoin’s recovery, nearing $74,000, to strong spot ETF inflows, short squeeze, and increasing institutional investor interest.

According to the data, there was a total net inflow of $767.3 million into spot Bitcoin ETFs over all five trading days last week.

Adziima noted that this rise in Bitcoin occurred despite the ongoing US-Iran conflict, which continues to fuel global uncertainty, and tensions surrounding the potential closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

This has revealed Bitcoin’s role as digital gold.

The analyst stated that Bitcoin is currently at a critical point, adding that there is a potential for a rise above $80,000.

“This recovery appears less like the definitive start of a prolonged bull rally and more like a solid rebound bounce from the lows around $60,000.”

The bull market needs sustainable momentum, but a price above $80,000 seems possible if entries continue.

At this point, the $70,000-$71,000 range will be an important support level for Bitcoin this week. A break above the $73,000-$74,000 region could lead to a rise towards $80,000.”

Zeus analyst Dominick John said that a clear break above $75,000 in Bitcoin is crucial for “the continuation of a stronger uptrend.”

As of this writing, Solana is trading at approximately $93.08, up 5.72%, indicating upward volatility. The altcoin has been trading within a narrow range for the past few weeks, suggesting market indecisiveness. Furthermore, SOL's daily trading volume has surged 87.52% to $4.05 billion.

With Solana's active bullish trend, a golden cross may occur, potentially pushing the price towards the $93.47 resistance level.  Further gains would strengthen bullish momentum and could push the price towards $93.96 or even higher.

On the other hand, if Solana's momentum reverses, the price could slip to the $92.67 support level. Assuming a death cross occurs, bears could target the key $92.26 area and potentially trigger a larger decline.

Technical indicators suggest a potential recovery for Solana.

On the 4-hour chart, SOL's daily Relative Strength Index (RSI) is at 71.75, indicating overbought territory. The price has climbed rapidly due to strong buying activity.

At this point, the price may be overextended in the short term. If momentum remains strong, the market could continue to rise or experience a brief pullback to pause the upward trend.

Bitcoin traders often treat old-coin movement as a sign that long-term holders are waking up. Coinbase’s $69.5 billion BTC migration suggests that signal may be less reliable than it looks.
Some of Bitcoin’s most trusted bottom signals rest on the simple assumption that when old coins move, something meaningful has changed.

Traders and analysts often interpret that as renewed selling, fresh distribution, or signs that the market hasn't bottomed. That logic helped turn HODL Waves, Coin Days Destroyed, and long-term holder supply into some of the most widely used metrics in Bitcoin cycle analysis.

The problem with that is that Bitcoin’s blockchain records movements and has no way of showing the motive behind them.

On Nov. 22, 2025, Coinbase said it was transferring BTC and ETH from its legacy wallets to new internal wallets as part of a routine security practice. The company said the transfers were planned, internal, and unrelated to any breach or market event.

But on-chain, it looked like a huge block of old coins suddenly waking up. If Coinbase hadn't published the announcement beforehand, it would have taken some time before the movement stopped looking like pure selling pressure.

At the time, CryptoSlate reported that the company moved nearly 800,000 BTC, representing roughly 4% of Bitcoin's circulating supply and worth around $69.5 billion at the time. That's large enough to overwhelm raw age-based readings and distort the story traders think the chart is telling.
