Why doesn't the execution price of a liquidated futures position appear on the K-line chart?
- FAQ
Forced liquidation is triggered when your margin ratio exceeds 100%. The calculation differs depending on the collateral mode: in Single-Asset Collateral mode, it is subject to both the last price and the mark price; in Multi-Asset Collateral mode, it is based solely on the mark price.
Once liquidation is triggered, the system initiates position settlement. This process involves the system taking over the liquidated position at the takeover price, the price at which your account equity reaches zero. The takeover price will not be displayed on the K-line chart. Additionally, the takeover price is not equal to the actual forced liquidation price.
For risk management, realized profits or losses will be fully transferred into or covered by the HTX Futures Insurance Fund, which is a common practice in the industry.
