Piglet Finance is a decentralised asset management protocol that operates on the Base Network. The primary focus of this project is to generate yields for its users through strategies such as staking and yield farming. The project offers monthly airdrops in USDC to holders of its native token, PIGGY. The overarching aim of Piglet Finance is to cultivate a revenue-generating ecosystem while transitioning towards a decentralised autonomous organisation (DAO) model.

• Token Utility: The PIGGY tokens play a crucial role by allowing holders to participate in governance decisions and share in the revenue generated through the protocol’s yield-generating portfolios.
• Revenue Model: Piglet Finance has established a structured allocation of its resources, distributing funds for treasury (29%), liquidity (44%), marketing (14%), and foundation (13%).

Piglet (ETHGlobal Project)

A distinct initiative from the aforementioned, Piglet, which emerged from an ETHGlobal hackathon, is a savings application that leverages the power of gamification to encourage users to meet their financial goals. This community-centric application enables users to earn rewards by saving and sharing their journey with others.

• Automated Savings: Users can make both fiat and cryptocurrency deposits, setting up customisable saving schedules to aid in reaching their goals.
• Public Goods Funding: Unique to this project, a portion of the annual percentage rate (APR) generated is allocated to initiatives voted upon by the community, thereby promoting collective support of beneficial projects.

Pigletz Project

The Pigletz Project represents an innovative intersection of DeFi and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Within this platform, users can engage with Pigletz—NFTs designed to serve as digital piggy banks. By depositing cryptocurrency into these digital assets, users can accrue PiFi tokens, thus blending yield generation with the playful elements of GameFi.
