The AKAS Protocol is comprehensive in its design, featuring a myriad of innovative mechanisms intended to promote stability and community engagement. Its guiding economic model derives inspiration from previous DeFi structures, most notably the Olympus DAO; however, it distinguishes itself through a unique Protocol-Owned Liquidity (POL) model that improves upon existing vulnerabilities.
AKAS implements various internal strategies, such as Destruction Bonds, Rebase Staking, and Elastic Incentives, each engineered to create a resilient and less manipulable protocol. Notably, the Genesis Liquidity Provider (LP) events entail locking and burning 100% of all LP contributions, which eliminates the specter of rug pulls by ensuring that initial liquidity remains irrevocably entwined with the protocol’s foundation.
