Mission and Vision

Hippocrat is a decentralised science (DeSci) project designed to empower individuals with sovereignty over their health data through blockchain and zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) technologies. Named after Hippocrates, the ancient Greek physician, the initiative prioritises patient autonomy, enabling secure data sharing while ensuring privacy and equitable compensation for contributors. The project's core objectives include:

• Eliminating Healthcare Disparities: By deploying AI-driven telemedicine solutions in underserved regions such as medical deserts and crisis zones.
• Decentralising Data Governance: Transitioning from institution-centric to patient-controlled health data ecosystems.
• Building Sustainable Incentives: Rewarding stakeholders—patients, healthcare providers, and researchers—for contributing to a collaborative healthcare network.

The vision of Hippocrat aligns with the “MyData” movement, advocating for self-sovereign identity (SSI) and individual control over personal information. By tokenising health data and integrating it into a Bitcoin-based protocol, Hippocrat aims to create a global marketplace where data subjects retain ownership while enabling innovation in medical research and personalised care.
