Aventus, a developer of blockchain infrastructure for enterprise applications, has announced the launch of sales for Aventus Cloud node licenses. This will enable individuals and companies to launch their own network nodes and provide it with computing power.
Aventus Cloud provides decentralized computing for applications running on the Aventus network. Nodes process and validate various network operations, including oracle data, state information transfer between blockchains, and the execution of user logic. Node owners can receive rewards for providing computational resources to the network.
Aventus plans to release up to 40,000 node licenses in total. Over 2,500 nodes are already operational. The license price within the current Genesis tranche is $1755. At the same time, Aventus emphasizes that the license is a software product, not an investment instrument. Purchasing it requires undergoing KYC procedures.
Aventus operates as a non-profit DAO, managed by AVT token holders. The network is built on Substrate and connected to Polkadot. Its infrastructure allows new appchains to utilize decentralized computing resources without building their own operator networks.
