Over the past week, the sales volume on the NFT market reached $95.48 million, an increase of 170%. The majority of this growth came from a single deal involving the hybrid NFT project Pandora.
Pandora dominated the collections ranking with $55.21 million raised from just nine transactions. This amount accounted for approximately 58% of all NFT sales over the past seven days.
The number of buyers for the week increased by 49% to 172,739, while the number of sellers rose by 50% to 159,275. However, the total number of transactions increased by only 7.5% to 962,992.
Thus, the sharp increase in dollar volume was not accompanied by a similar rise in the number of recorded sales. The average transaction cost is approximately $99, compared to $39 a week earlier.
Ethereum ranked first among blockchains with $70.81 million from NFT sales, a 546% increase from the previous week. Polygon took second place with sales volume of $10.91 million, down 9.54% from the previous seven days. Base placed third with $4.59 million, showing a 107% increase, while the number of buyer addresses grew by 86.74% to 2,168.
