Собранные предложения должны помочь создать инструменты для более прозрачного и безопасного функционирования криптовалютных рынков. Участникам отрасли предоставлен 60-дневный период для подачи комментариев. Это стандартная практика при введении новых законов, когда федеральные агентства уточняют порядок их реализации. В будущем к работе подключатся и другие регуляторы, включая Управление контролера денежного обращения (OCC) и Федеральную корпорацию страхования депозитов (FDIC).

GENIUS Act стал первым значимым шагом к созданию национальной системы регулирования криптовалют. Однако эксперты отмечают, что он решает лишь часть задач. Следующим этапом станет разработка правил для более широкого сегмента цифровых активов.
