当然,如果您和我一样觉得YugaLabs以及NFT的一切故事都是骗局,那么他们的财务报表会打消这一顾虑:
2021年,YugaLabs营业收入1.38亿美元,净利润1.27亿美元,没错,全年利润率高达92%。据官网介绍,截止2022年1月,该项目全职员工只有11个,折算下来,每位员工人均年净利润产出竟然高达7200万人民币,放眼全球,如此高回报的初创项目屈指可数。
难怪除a16z外,老虎全球,光速创投等大牌基金同样对这块肉垂涎。
NFT社会认可度提升,主流IP从中受益
NFT中文名是“非同质化权益证明”(Non-FungibleToken),是一种艺术品、版权、数字艺术品等的非标凭证,说白了,它就是一串代码——人们购买NFT不能获得实物本身,但可以拥有艺术品的网络虚拟财产权。
利用区块链技术,这些数字作品的虚拟财产权,包括出处、品牌和背后具有影响力的人都可以被准确地追踪。而作品本身可以是图像、GIF、音视频、在线游戏角色等任何内容。
假如你是一位书法家,你可以将创作的字体放到类似Opensea、NFT中国等平台上售卖,寻找买家。交易成功后,平台通过从中收取流通费用作为利润。
的确,NFT的价值仍具有极高主观性,它是以美学价值作为支撑的,无论如何设计交易体系、施加监管,其价值仍难以有一个清晰的界定。
尽管如此,NFT深受艺术家和艺术收藏家、游戏玩家以及大型商业品牌的欢迎。对于他们而言,NFT的可能性是无限的。
全球最大NFT平台Opensea的联合创始人AlexAtallah曾表示,NFT以一种让社区感觉真正独立的方式满足了转移价值的潜在需求,并为用户提供了一个全新的发展空间。
研究机构Brandessence的数据显示,在2021年上半年和第三季度内,NFT交易量增长了328%。一定程度上表明,NFT行业正在快速增长,并吸引更多的专业和机构参与者进入该行业。
2022年,NFT市场需求逐步形成,并有了稳定的交易流通额。数据显示,过去24小时内(3月24日),OpenSea近24小时交易量为8362万美元,累计交易额更是超过惊人的235亿美元。此外,NFT市场累计交易总额排名前三的项目有:OpenSea(235亿美元)、LooksRare(181.6亿美元)、AxieInfinity(41.7亿美元)。

“无聊猿“从0到1,11个月项目爆红、名人撑场
“无聊猿”是Yuga Labs公司孵化的IP。
通过官网,我们了解到,“无聊猿”是由一万个猿猴NFT组成的数字收藏品合集,包括了帽子,眼睛,神态,服装,背景等170个稀有度不同的属性。它们通过编程方式随机组合生成了1万个独一无二的猿猴,每个猿猴表情神态穿着各异。
购买一只无聊猿需要0.08ETH,而当一万枚NFT售罄后,人们想再购买它就只能通过Opensea一类平台,从最早一批拥有者手中高价收购。
2021年4月23日,BAYC在开始发售,起初并没有受到太多关注,直到5月1号的一天,知名收藏家关注到了这个项目,并宣布已经购买了250多只猿猴。
从Pranksy发布推特的那一刻起,BAYC的销量、用户、交易数激增,仅在117分钟后便宣告售罄。据BAYC团队所述,他们从未和Pranksy有私下的交流。
人们为何疯狂购买这些看似毫无意义的“猿猴”头像?据一位业内人士解释,在BAYC社区,无聊猿头像可视作一种身份象征,只要你的钱包地址中有BAYC,就相当于获得了进入BAYC俱乐部的资格,并享有俱乐部的福利。
首先,你可以自由访问一个虚拟创作空间BAYCBATHROOM,可以在浴室墙上作画或书写内容,表达你的想法和情绪;并在只面向持有者的沙盒(SandBox)中拥有一片虚拟土地。
其次,每个无聊猿NTF都具有完整的商业使用权,你可以销售印着它们的实体产品,例如书籍、漫画、棒球帽等,并掌握这些商品的定价权。
运营社区方面,BAYC团队同样手段高明。从为持有者创建详细的“成长路书”,到组织一系列寻宝活动,再到偶尔向持有者“空投”福利周边NFT(有些市场价甚至超过2ETH,折合近4万人民币),甚至转发twitter并艾特名人就有机会获得一枚BAYC。这不仅让BAYC持有者乐在其中,获得经济收益的同时获得归属感,还让IP在社交媒体中无限裂变,最终形成免费广告效应。
BAYC也很会玩转了名人效应。据不完全统计,先后有NBA球员拉梅洛·鲍尔、、国内影视明星徐静蕾、F4成员等名人在社交媒体上宣布购买了BAYC。碰巧,发稿前一天,美国著名歌手麦当娜将Twitter头像换为BAYC第4988号,并宣布“我终于进入了元宇宙”。
在一波波声浪激起的社区氛围中,BAYC量价齐升,经历一连串升值。2021年5月至8月,一枚BAYC头像从最初0.644ETH涨至24.8ETH,涨幅超28倍。截止2022年3月25日,一枚BAYC最低价为103.4ETH。
也就是说,近期购买到BAYC的麦当娜,理论上最低支付了31.9万美元,折合人民币201万元。
“价格已不是评估和衡量NFT价值的唯一方法,有时,构筑一个让粉丝和俱乐部成员深度参与的忠实体系,可以远远超越数字收藏品本身的价值。”Opensea联合创始人Alex如此评价BAYC。
VC重金入场,NFT是个好生意?
NFT无疑饱受争议,这里分两个层面。
第一层是以a16z为首的VC,几乎占据着NFT绝对垄断的地位,价值计算,a16z共参与了NFT公司所有VC融资中的39.27%。
这让“明眼人”很难不去担心真个NFT只是少数顶级巨头设计的“局”。一位波兰VC干脆直接公开评论Yuga Labs融资事件:我们决定直接放弃这次机会。
2021年7月,a16z领投了NFT市场OpenSea 1亿美元B轮融资,并将普通合伙人KathrynHaun插入OpenSea董事会,随后该平台交易额出现大幅增长并在2022年2月突破200亿美元大关,可见其在NFT圈的影响力之大。
这也是为什么,当a16z向无聊猿注资4.5亿美元后,加剧了业内人士是对NFT未来“伪去中心化”的担忧。
另一层面,回到国内,我们的NFT市场似乎距离成熟更加遥远。
首先,NFT市场二次交易的放开需要在国家金融监管之下展开,而目前尚未有底层政策框架指导,这使得NFT市场无法迈开脚步。
有机构预测,如中国NFT二级市场放开,2026年中国的NFT市场规模约300亿;若未放开二级交易,市场规模仅约为60亿,大约是放开后的1/5。
当然,随着NFT收藏品社区的不断成熟,玩家不仅仅会对数字艺术品或者是交易本身感兴趣,而是以此进入一个包含身份认同和社区归属的更大的世界。
