Franklin Templeton plans blockchain money market funds on Avalanche, Aptos, Arbitrum

08/01 12:21

Asset management giant Franklin Templeton plans to issue blockchain money market funds on blockchains such as Avalanche, Aptos and Arbitrum. The fund is currently primarily issued on the Stellar public blockchain and is gradually expanding to Polygon. In response to competition from startups, Franklin Tapton has been subsidizing fees, making his fund more attractive. However, there are advantages to some startups in terms of fees, rewards, and payment methods, as they accept stablecoins as payments, and investors can participate without leaving the crypto world. Franklin Tapton utilizes blockchain technology for transaction records and has worked with the SEC to obtain the license.
