South Korea will hold a meeting in November to collect opinions on the draft Basic Law on Digital Assets

The Korean Financial Services Commission recently reported to the People Power Party the draft of the Basic Law on Digital Assets. The People Power Party plans to hold a meeting of the special committee on digital assets within the party in early November to collect government and industry opinions on the bill, and may propose the bill in November . The Basic Law on Digital Assets, which will be proposed under the name of the “Digital Assets Fair Restoration Support Law,” focuses on investor protection and is expected to contain information on the qualifications and obligations and disclosure rules of digital asset operators.
