The altcoin’s price action showed a clear reversal from the recent peak near $97, where aggressive buying stalled and profit-taking quickly took control.

From that high, sellers forced a sharp breakdown, driving the price through the $72–73 resistance zone, which now acts as a clear supply ceiling.

As downside momentum built, Dash [DASH] slid toward the $60–61 zone, where price is currently consolidating around $59.6, signaling a pause rather than a full reversal.

This decline unfolded in stages. First, strong red daily candles reflected dominant sell-side pressure as short-term traders locked in gains.

Then, the pace of selling slowed near $60, a level buyers are attempting to defend.

Moreover, volume adds nuance to the story. Sell-offs expanded volume, while rebounds showed weaker participation, suggesting buyers remain cautious.

Meanwhile, RSI rolled over from near overbought levels and now hovers around the mid-40s. This confirms fading bullish momentum without signaling extreme exhaustion.

If bulls fail to reclaim $60.5–61, the price risks a continuation toward the next demand zone near $50.2.

Conversely, a sustained bounce above $60 could open a corrective move toward $68–72, where sellers are likely to re-engage.

Most market sectors posted losses, reflecting weak risk appetite across the board. Layer 2, Layer 1, DeFi, CeFi, Meme, and PayFi sectors all declined, though select tokens such as zkSync, MYX Finance, and Ultima recorded notable gains against the trend. In contrast, SocialFi emerged as the most resilient segment, posting modest gains and standing out as the only sector to remain in positive territory amid the broader market sell-off.

Dogecoin price today trades near $0.1128 after breaking below the $0.12 level and testing a critical long term trendline that has supported the token since mid 2024. The move comes as ETF flows stall completely and spot outflows persist, leaving $DOGE without a catalyst to reverse months of selling pressure.

ETF Demand Fails To Materialize

The Dogecoin ETF story has not delivered the demand bulls expected. Data from SoSoValue shows zero inflows across all three $DOGE spot ETFs on January 29, with total net assets sitting at just $10.15 million. Cumulative inflows since launch stand at $6.41 million, a fraction of what competing altcoin funds have attracted.

For comparison, spot XRP ETFs have pulled in $1.26 billion in inflows while Solana funds have gathered $884 million. Even Chainlink ETFs, a smaller market, have accumulated $73 million with $86 million in assets under management.

The disparity reflects a broader lack of institutional interest in $DOGE. Without fresh demand from ETF channels, price remains dependent on retail sentiment and spot market flows.
