The previously high-flying meme-driven cryptocurrency "Shiba Inu Coin" has seen its upward momentum weaken, with the price falling back to its peak demand level for the year.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) fell to $0.00000745 yesterday due to the impact of Trump's tariff policies, and the asset has retreated to a support level, consistent with the overall cryptocurrency market trend. While this reduces the asset's year-to-date profitability from 46% to 13.9%, it may foreshadow a broader bullish trend.

Key Points

Shiba has fallen to the yearly support level from the January 1st rebound.

The recent consolidation of SHIB also aligns with the trend within a narrowing descending channel on the weekly chart.

There are two possible scenarios: further declines to retest the lower support trendline of the wedge, or an upward reversal to challenge the neckline resistance.

If it falls further, SHIB will retest its multi-year lows; conversely, if it reclaims the channel neckline, it could break through and retest its multi-year highs.

 The Shiba Inu bullish reversal wedge pattern remains valid.

The Shiba Inu fell below its annual support on January 1st, after a rebound in its price from its highs. Despite a poor performance in the fourth quarter of last year, the demand zone during that period still highlights its importance for subsequent price movements.

It's worth noting that the recent consolidation also aligns with the narrowing descending channel trend on the weekly chart. Since hitting a high of $0.00001765 in May 2025, Shiba Inu has been trapped within this structure, with multiple failed attempts to break out.

The recent drop to the annual support level still conforms to the trend within the channel. Currently, two possibilities exist: either a further decline to retest the support trendline below the wedge; or an upward reversal
