Japanese Media: The Japanese Government Will Use ChatGPT Technology To Handle Administrative Affairs

According to the Nihon Keizai Shimbun, Microsoft will provide ChatGPT technology to the Japanese government for paperwork and analysis, including drafting responses to parliamentary inquiries. To process classified information, Microsoft recently installed high-processing capacity equipment for generative artificial intelligence in data centers in Tokyo and Osaka, the first deployment of the technology in Asia.
