PieDun: Balancer has lost more than $2.1 million, and multiple on-chain fund pools are affected

According to PwC analysis, DeFi protocol Balancer has lost over $2.1 million, affecting multiple liquidity pools on Ethereum, Fantom, and Optimism. PwC stated that the Balancer team did a great job in alerting the community to remove liquidity from affected vaults, but the initial estimate that "only 0.08% of the total TVL ($565,199) was at risk" seems to have been severely miscalculated.
