The decline may be due to a more cautious approach to the sector or other factors, such as the risk of cascading liquidations on DeFi protocols and the stablecoin GHO trading below the $1 peg. Despite these challenges, Aave's decentralized liquidity protocol has successfully survived previous identical scenarios, and the protocol has a substantial $295.6 million deposited in its Safety Module. Aave's decentralized application remains strong with a robust insurance fund and protocol fees, and its solid foundation and significant TVL suggest potential for continued success.
