Sega Still Investing In NFTs But Will Keep Its Biggest Series Off The Blockchain

Several game publishers have announced plans to integrate blockchain and NFTs into future projects, and Sega was one of them, registering a trademark for the Sega NFT last year. However, Sega co-chief operating officer Shuji Utsumi recently announced they will move their biggest series away from blockchain, calling playing games for monetization “boring."
