Slovakia Lowers Crypto Taxes and Exempts Health Insurance Contribution for Cryptocurrency Holders

June 29 (Huobi) - The parliament of Slovakia has approved an amendment that will lower taxes on profits gained from the sale of cryptocurrencies held for at least a year. The personal income tax will be reduced to 7%, a significant decrease from the current taxation sliding scale of 19% or 25%.
