Despite social networks promising to crack down on fraudsters, well-known celebrities are still being used as the faces of crypto scams. NatWest bank has released a league table showing which A-listers had their likeness used to steal the most money from unsuspecting customers. Jeff Bezos' picture was involved in the highest-value crypto scam, with £158,873 lost in a single incident. The top three celebrity scams that NatWest customers fell for didn't involve digital assets, with the highest-value case involving Peter Jones, a multimillionaire who hosts Dragon's Den.
