Microsoft researchers that AI is becoming more like humans

Microsoft researchers have found that the ChatGPT AI technology is becoming more like humans due to its clever answer to a balancing task. In a study comparing GPT-3 and GPT-4, the latter version was able to solve a puzzle requiring an understanding of the physical world, which showed it was a step towards artificial general intelligence (AGI). However, there are still uncertainties about AGI's future and capabilities. The study claimed that GPT-4 only showed "sparks" of AGI and did not come close to being able to do anything that a human can do.
