Gamer activity accounted for nearly half of all blockchain activity in January

Gamer activity accounted for nearly half (48%) of all blockchain activity in the first month of 2023, according to a new report from DappRadar. In addition, the market cap of top gaming tokens grew by an average of 122% in January, with GALA, the digital utility token of the Gala Games ecosystem, soaring by 218%. According to the report, interest in these gaming tokens has risen as the industry boom hits mainstream audiences. For example, Gala Games acquired a new handheld gaming studio with over $20 million in assets under management and 15 games under its belt.
