Merger reduces power consumption of Ethernet network by more than 99.9%

To date, the merger has reduced the power consumption of the Ethernet network by more than 99.9%, and continues to maintain low energy consumption. It is reported that prior to the merger upgrade, Ether's energy consumption was between 46.31 TWh-93.98 TWh per year in 2022. In previous news, the total energy consumption of the Ethernet network dropped dramatically immediately on 15 September when it migrated from PoW to the PoS consensus mechanism.
