Messari founder: COO to be hired to assist with future IPO

Ryan Selkis, founder of blockchain analytics company Messari, said in a social media post, "It's finally time to hire a Chief Operating Officer (COO). What world-class operations people should I talk to about scaling Messari to its inevitable IPO?"
He added that the COO job requirements include a love of cryptocurrency and its potential; kind but ruthless execution; and must be so good that it scares him or her a little. "I want to focus almost entirely on product, policy (key for the next few years) and performance management. So this person will really manage all the core business functions."
