Former 2020 US Presidential Candidate Brock Pierce Launches Super PAC to Popularize Web3

Brock Pierce, founder of the Tether stablecoin and 2020 US presidential candidate, has announced the formation of Super PAC to focus on popularising blockchain technology. According to Pierce, the development of Web3 is a means to counter the influence of large tech companies while promoting other priority areas such as food security. Notably, the Super PAC is an independent expenditure-only political committee that may receive unlimited donations from individuals and companies. Known as One America, the Super PAC is expected to spend at least $5 million in the current election cycle, with another $5 million in contributions lined up. The group's target candidates, however, have not yet been identified but will focus on the Northeast.
