ByteTree CEO: Gold and Bitcoin will be an important part of portfolios in the coming years

In a note shared by cryptoglobe, the CEO of byteTree said: At ByteTree, we believe that gold and bitcoin will be an important part of portfolios in the coming years. Not because they are certain to go up (we don't know the future), but because in times of inflation they are a hedge against policy mistakes in both directions: inflation owns bitcoin; deflation owns gold. The combination of slowing economic activity, increasing harvests and cooling commodity prices seems to have temporarily eased inflationary fears. Markets are beginning to be encouraged that the fight against inflation is being won and that we are nearing the end of the rate hike cycle. In addition, earlier this year his firm partnered with Vinter, a regulated crypto-focused index provider, to launch the Vinter ByteTree BOLD Index, which "brings together these assets on a monthly basis on an equally risk-weighted basis ".
