Survey: One-third of gold buyers surveyed see bitcoin as a better option

About half of gold buyers surveyed plan to buy more assets, but a third of respondents see bitcoin as a viable option, according to a survey by blockchain platform Paxos. The survey, released on Wednesday, collected responses from 1,000 adults in the US, UK, Singapore and Germany who had purchased some form of gold - ETFs, physical gold bars, gold coins or tokenised gold - in the past two years. The primary motivation for those who said they planned to buy more gold was concern about inflation, which has reached its highest level in 40 years.
