Suspected a16z Address Acquires 282,090 HYPE Again, Total Holdings Reach 4.679 Million HYPE

On August 27, on-chain analyst Yu Jin reported that a suspected a16z, currently the largest institutional holder of HYPE, has made another purchase and staking of HYPE after acquiring $24 million worth of HYPE at an average price of $68.7 in June. In the past day, this institution deposited 36 million USDC into Hyperliquid through 12 addresses, with approximately 24 million USDC used to buy 282,090 HYPE at an average price of about $81.5. Currently, this institution has cumulatively acquired and staked 4.679 million HYPE, valued at approximately $381 million, with an overall average holding price of about $65.6, resulting in an unrealized profit of around $74.4 million.
