On August 20, Alibaba Group released its financial report for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027, highlighting a comprehensive acceleration in AI commercialization: external commercial revenue from Alibaba Cloud grew by 45%, marking a 22-quarter high; adjusted EBITA increased by 133% year-on-year, with EBITA profit margin rising to 12%; revenue from AI-related products achieved triple-digit year-on-year growth for the twelfth consecutive quarter, establishing AI as a definitive engine for cloud growth.
