Curve H1 Report: Plans to Increase Protocol Fee Share to 30%, 2026 Budget Reduced to 4 Million CHF

On August 19, the Curve governance team, Swiss Stake AG, released a progress report on the Curve Ecosystem Grant for the first half of 2026 (January to June). The report indicates that Swiss Stake AG will submit an on-chain governance proposal to increase the DAO's protocol fee share from 10% to 30%, fulfilling a commitment made during the previous mid-term review. Preparations for the Swiss non-profit association (Verein) will resume later in the third quarter. The budget for 2026 has been reduced from 5.3 million Swiss francs to 4 million Swiss francs, with cumulative expenditures for H1 amounting to approximately 1.716 million Swiss francs. The total expenditure budget target for security audits is set at 900,000 to 1 million Swiss francs.
