EIA Raises WTI and Brent Price Forecasts for This Year and Next

On August 12, according to the EIA Short-Term Energy Outlook report, the 2026 WTI crude oil price is expected to be $80.88 per barrel, compared with a previous forecast of $76.26. The 2027 WTI crude oil price is expected to be $65.39 per barrel, compared with a previous forecast of $60.76. The 2026 Brent price is expected to be $86.81 per barrel, compared with a previous forecast of $81.91. The 2027 Brent price is expected to be $69.39 per barrel, compared with a previous forecast of $64.76.
