On July 3, Aave deployed its V3 lending protocol on Monad, with initial market support for 12 assets including USDT0, USDC, Aave stablecoin GHO, USDe, mUSD, AUSD, WETH, cbBTC, wstETH, weETH, syrupUSDC, and sUSDe. This deployment marks the first time Aave has enabled the Chainlink Smart Value Recovery (SVR) mechanism at launch, which allows for the return of some MEV value generated during the liquidation process back to the protocol. The Monad Foundation will invest $15 million as incentive funding within the first 12 months of the project launch and has agreed to purchase 10 million GHO, holding them for at least six months. Additionally, Aave DAO has committed to contribute 500,000 GHO as incentives to support applications on Monad.
