US AI Chip Startup Etched Announces $800 Million Funding with $5 Billion Valuation

On July 1, US artificial intelligence chip startup Etched announced that it has completed a total of $800 million in funding, revealing that its investor lineup includes leading figures in the AI field such as Peter Thiel, Geoffrey Hinton, and Fei-Fei Li. In a press release, Etched stated that the company had previously completed multiple rounds of undisclosed funding, with the latest round completed in December of last year, raising $500 million and achieving a post-money valuation of $5 billion.
