The date of the ethereum main network merge will be determined after the two test networks merge

On June 6, Tim Beiko, the core developer of Ethereum, said on his social networking site that two more test networks will be merged before the main network is merged. Therefore, the merger date of the main network cannot be determined before the merger of the two test networks. Earlier, it announced the merger of Ethereum test network Ropsten, which is expected to take place on June 8. After Ropsten, the other two test networks (Goerli and Sepolia) will transition to proof of stake before the focus shifts to the main network.
