Citi to Establish Financial and Strategic Investors Division

On April 24, Reuters cited an internal memo indicating that Citigroup will create a new division within its investment banking operations to enhance transactions with financial sponsors. This new division will replace the previous Global Asset Management unit and is expected to cover three major client groups: financial sponsors, sovereign wealth funds, and family offices.
