A crypto analyst has said that almost everyone in the market has turned bearish on the Bitcoin price, as it continues to face heavy volatility following its last rejection near $83,000. However, while most market participants hold negative outlooks, this analyst holds a different view. He believes that Bitcoin is not heading for a decline but is instead preparing to go parabolic. He also dismisses the idea of an ongoing bear market, and warns investors not to miss the projected rally ahead.

Analyst Sees Bitcoin Price Going Parabolic Soon
Crypto Fergani, a market analyst, has announced that currently “everyone is bearish” in the crypto market and “everyone is calling for lower targets.” In an X post released on May 21, the expert noted that, contrary to the negative sentiment and foreboding Bitcoin price forecasts flooding the market, there has been no bearish news about Bitcoin.

Instead, Crypto Fergani said that mostly bullish developments have been occurring. He noted that major institutions have been accumulating BTC as adoption for the leading cryptocurrency grows even faster globally. Because of these, the analyst maintains a firm belief that the market is pointing toward a possible uptrend.

Crypto Fergani stated that people who think that the Bitcoin bear market is still running deserve to miss the potential upward rally that he believes is coming. According to the analyst, the BTC price will go parabolic soon, targeting new all-time highs. He supports his bullish outlook by comparing Bitcoin’s price action with that of the 2022 cycle, where the cryptocurrency skyrocketed by 54.2% after a period of bearishness and sideways consolidation.


He expects this uptrend to affect not just Bitcoin but also alternative cryptocurrencies. As such, the analyst projects that altcoins could rally by 50x to 100x on average soon. Kalshi has backed a new lobbying group for prediction markets called Americans for Fair Markets, which has tapped former deputy White House chief of staff Taylor Budowich as its strategic advisor.

Kalshi said on Friday that the organization is positioning itself against sportsbooks and casinos, which it claims are “focused on protecting their monopolies and seeding lies about prediction markets to policymakers.”

Americans for Fair Markets, which Kalshi said was launched with its support, would join a broader lobbying push that includes the Coalition for Prediction Markets, an advocacy group for prediction markets launched in December 2025, backed by Coinbase, Crypto.com, and Robinhood.

Kalshi said the organization aims to shape federal policy on prediction markets and would run paid campaigns on what it claimed were “false narratives about prediction markets.”

The launch of the group came on the same day that the US House launched a probe into Kalshi and its main rival, Polymarket, over how the companies were handling insider trading, as prediction markets come under increased scrutiny in the US and abroad.

Budowich’s appointment as an advisor comes as US President Donald Trump has expressed mixed takes on prediction markets. Trump said last month that he was “not happy” with prediction markets over well-timed Iran war bets.

However, Trump, whose son Donald Trump Jr. invested in Polymarket and joined the company’s advisory board and is an adviser to Kalshi, softened his stance days later, saying the US would “get left out in the cold” if it didn’t allow the platforms.

Kalshi said that Americans for Fair Markets will support the Commodity Futures Trading Commission in regulating prediction markets.

The CFTC and state regulators have faced off over competing claims for jurisdiction, with states claiming prediction markets are violating local gambling laws, while the CFTC has claimed sole jurisdiction over the platforms.

The crypto market wavered on Monday morning as investors embraced a risk-on sentiment amid hopes of a deal between the US and Iran. Bitcoin (BTC) price was held below $77,000, while the market capitalization of all tokens remained flat at $2.56 trillion.
Some tokens, however, continued their uptrend that started on Saturday. DeXe token jumped by over 24%, while Humanity Protocol (H), Venice Token (VVV), Morpho (MORPHO), and Ondo rose by over 5% in the last 24 hours.

Crypto market waits for US-Iran deal
Bitcoin and most altcoins rebounded on Saturday after President Trump announced that the US and Iran were working on a deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Media reports suggest that the deal will see the US end its blockade against Iranian ports in exchange for Iran reopening the Strait.

The reports also suggest that the two countries will start a 60-day ceasefire, in which they will seek to find an agreement on its nuclear program. These reports, if confirmed, would be positive for the crypto market as they would lead to lower energy prices and inflationary pressures.

Indeed, data shows that the Brent and West Texas Intermediate (WTI) tumbled below $100 today. This sell-off started as soon as Trump made the announcement, with traders on platforms like Hyperliquid experiencing the most benefits.

Still, the crypto market action has been a bit muted because Trump is yet to announce the deal. He has also said that he will not be in a hurry to reach an agreement, raising concerns that things might go south.
